Ro is a cooking and meal-planning app centered on Malagasy recipes, budgeting, and shopping lists. It contains no violence, gambling, alcohol/drug references, or adult content. There are no in-app purchases: the app is entirely free.
02User-generated content
Users can publish posts, photos, comments, replies, and short stories, and follow other users. This content is not pre-moderated before publishing, but every user can block another account or report content directly from the app; reported content is reviewed by our team.
03Social interactions
Ro has no private messaging feature. All interactions (comments, replies, reactions) happen publicly, attached to the content they respond to, which makes moderation and reporting straightforward.
04Our recommendation
Based on the above, Ro is suitable for a general audience. As with any app offering unmoderated user-generated content and social features, we recommend the usual parental guidance for younger users.
